We tried to teach Matt
that he should always do
his best on any endeavor
he undertook. The 10* of
body twist not clearly seen
here qualified as a very
good 1st effort.
The nice policeman said
that Matt ricocheted off a
1964 Buick Skylark at the
intersection and then
struck the corner of some
unfortunate man's house at
25mph. Matt and his 2
passengers walked away
from this bruised, dazed,
but otherwise uninjured,
as did the driver of the
Skylark.
Matt and his '82 5.0 2 barrel
in 1991. The current
whereabouts of this car are
unknown. Matt broke in the
Tremec that is now in my
car.

If you look very closely at
the left side of the picture
you might recognize a
Datsun Z car. This one had
an Olds 455, TH400, NOS,
and was my daily driver and
autocross toy for many
years. I do miss it.
